reblogging again because i have a lot of feels for lizards and am always sad at their criminalization and mistreatment because they are not ‘fluffy’ and ‘cute’.

I hate going into pet stores and seeing five or six baby beardies jammed into a little tank. almost all of them missing toes or tail bits because those tanks are FAR FAR too small for so many beardies in one tank.

It makes me so angry that this is ‘ok’.

I don’t understand why anyone would want to hurt ANY animal. I love and care about reptiles just as much as cats and dogs… why would anyone want to harm a defenseless animal? It pains me to see this kind of cruelty. Fuck anyone who has ever harmed an innocent creature. I hope you fucking die in a strange and painful way.
